The next weekly clothing collection for Knowsley addresses is Thursday, August 6, 2026. The cut-off time to book this collection is 12pm on Wednesday, 5th August.
The household clothing collection service is a new weekly home recycling initiative from Knowsley Council, working in partnership with Roberts Group International.
The initiative is for residents in Knowsley postcodes only.
How it works:
Bag up your unwanted clothing
Put all of your unwanted clothing in a clean bag. We collect a wide range of clothes, shoes, bags and accessories (see the full list below), however all items must be clean and in a re-wearable condition.
Request a collection to your address in Knowsley
Enter your address details in the free collection form. The next collection will be Thursday, August 6, 2026 – the cut-off time to make this request is by 12pm on Wednesday, 5th August.
Leave your clothing bags in a safe dry place ready for collection
Please leave your clothing bags in a safe dry place for our recycling partners Roberts Recycling Ltd to collect from 7am on Thursday, August 6, 2026.
Your clothes will be collected and ethically recycled
A RGI (Roberts Group International) or RRLTD (Roberts Recycling Ltd) branded van will collect your clothes and they will be ethically reused or recycled.
What can be collected?
We will collect clean, dry items, bagged in any household carrier or bin liner.
Clothing (men’s, women’s, children’s) – Paired shoes – Belts and handbags – Hats, gloves, scarves – Household textiles (e.g. towels, curtains, bedding) – Soft toys (good condition)
Soiled, wet or mouldy textiles – Duvets, pillows, mattresses, rugs or carpets – Electrical items or home furnishings – Work uniforms or protective gear – Underwear or socks (unless new or with tags) – Fabric offcuts or scraps
We can’t collect any other household waste or unwanted items. Please continue to dispose of these through your usual Knowsley Council waste and recycling services.
