Four months into the new year and what a hugely successful four months it has been. At Collect My Clothes are aim has always been to help our partner charities raise additional funds through clothes recycling. We have selected a range of partner charities, allowing you to support the cause which is most important to you.
And we couldn’t be more thrilled to share that in March 2021 alone, we have picked up 10,223 kgs across the north of England and the whole of Wales, which in total has raised over £2,500 for our partner charities.
The wasteful nature of the fashion industry is well documented but with our help and your donations, together we can create amazing success stories such as this.
By donating your clothing, we can reassure you that every item we collect is given a second life, with nothing being sent into landfill; the priory is exactly that, to divert waste from landfill.
Due to COVID, we announced at the start of the year we would be offering a contactless collection service, so you can continue to have a clear out without any risk. This has meant no nuisance recycling bags posted through any letterboxes, saving rubbish and time.
